Q: Write about the custody of child under Muslim law?

Ans: According to Muslim Law, the mother has primary custody of the child  until the age of seven and after seven years of age of child, the father is regarded as the child's guardian by default. The age limit is set to seven because the age of consideration of a major is directly synonyms to the age of puberty.
